I think Madame Loisel is a beautiful woman, but very prideful and demanding because of her looks. She thinks that she is supposed to have a rich life. She doesn't want to go to the ball with an ugly dress. Even with a beautiful dress, she still isn't satisfied until she has a jewelry to wear with her gown to become the most beautiful woman in the ball.

But, even so, she is surprisingly a responsible woman. She wants to be responsible for losing the necklace. She even looks for the necklace everywhere and works 10 years to paid for the necklace. So, even though she has a bad side, she also has a good side for being a responsible woman.

Well, I know someone who is like Madame Loisel. She is my classmate. She is alike in terms of responsibility. She will do anything to make up for her mistake.
