give advice on what to do base on the following situastion. I am a teacher, i have problem with my students the students always forget their english book.

The teacher should start reminding them so that the students will not forget again. If the students are still making the same mistake, then there is nothing wrong to give them punishment. But give them a small punishment only cause if they receive severe punishment, it will make the students afraid and traumatized.

As a teacher, we should teach our student about discipline. So, what should we do as a teacher is to advise and remind them not to do so again. And if he/she keeps on doing that mistake, then we should take further actions such as giving them a proper punishment.
